The Pro Patria Property Trust was created by volunteer business people, who recognise the urgent need to support specialised, advanced & approved treatments for our veterans and first responders and the Trust received support from the local community, corporate organisations and foundations to purchase the Carmelite Monastery in Wagga Wagga and make it available for the
Pro Patria Centre.

The Pro Patria Property Trust (PPT) Charity Dinner has raised $100,000, which will go towards securing Ashmont’s Carmelite Monastery for conversion into a Pro Patria Centre (PPC).
Wagga Wagga.TV CEO and Region Riverina commercial manager Adam Drummond produced a 20-minute documentary that will be used to pitch Australia-wide for donations to secure the Carmelite monastery before March 2023.
Wagga will soon open an innovative multidisciplinary facility that provides sorely-needed holistic health treatments to veterans and first responders.
The clock is finally ticking towards the completion of a much-needed veterans treatment centre in Wagga.
It has taken years in the making, but preliminary works to revamp Wagga's Pro Patria Centre have now begun.
We need your financial support
The Trust is a not for profit registered charity that will own & manage the property, currently called the Carmelite Monastery will community owned & managed.
The property will be purchased on 31st August ‘23, however our requirements for funding do not stop as there are plans to develop the Pro Patria Centre into Australia’s leading centre of excellence for veteran & first responder support. Offering advanced, multi-disciplined clinical, mental & whole of life support.
There are a number of ways to make donations & receive recognition. Please contact us to find out more about naming rites for sections, rooms or property sites. All donations are tax deductible. We also support fundraising events and ways that you can get our message to the community, your organisation, your friends and family.
